On February 11, 2005 at 0423 hours the El Dorado County Fire District, Camino, California (ECF) was dispatched to an oven fire at the Brucia-Naturex facility in the Shingle Springs Business Park. Brucia manufactures bulk health food supplements for distribution worldwide.

While enroute the Emergency Command Center upgraded the initial dispatch to a full first alarm commercial response. A first alarm commercial response brings five (5) engines, one (1) ladder, one (1) air/light unit, one (1) ALS medic unit and one (1) Battalion Chief.
