On June 11, crews were dispatched at approximately 5 a.m. for a structure fire with reports of people trapped and jumping from the balcony on Rawleigh Street in Lower Paxton Township.
E-33, 32-1 and Ladder 33 arrived within minutes to find heavy fire conditions on all floors of the garden style apartment building.
With the reports of people still trapped crews from Progress and Colonial Park initiated a primary search.
Firefighters had negative results on the search and were pushed back with heavy fire conditions.
Shortly after this, command had all units switch to a defensive attack. Master streams and big lines flowed for about an hour before control was declared.
One civilian and two firefighters from Progress were injured in the blaze.
Units remained on scene for several hours with extensive overhaul.
