The Arlington County Fire Department conducted a cold water rescue drill for the Technical Rescue Team as well as the Southside Rescue Company and the other members assigned to that house.
The drill was conducted at the Columbia Island Marina, which is on the Potomac River just a stones throw away from the Pentagon.
This was the second day of training, the first day was a classroom lecture on rescue procedures and safety while operating both in the water and on the shore.
