On January 3, 2003 Valley Hill Firefighters responded to the scene of a structure fire in Rambling Ridge Estates in Henderson County, North Carolina. The fire was dispatched as a vehicle fire around 02:30 hours.
Upon arrival firefighters found that the structure had been involved since the initial dispatch.
The house was completely destroyed by time of extinguishment, high winds and a low water supply were major factors involved in this vehicle turned house fire.
Four fire departments were dispatched to the scene. Units cleared the scene late the next day.
No firefighters or civilians were injured or killed in this fire.
