On Friday January 10th, 2003, Seymour, Connecticut firefighters were dispatched to a reported garage fire.
On arrival firefighters were confronted with a well involved barn.
Due to a limited water supply in the area, a third alarm was struck bringing mutual aid tankers from Oxford CT, and Bethany CT as well as an Engine from Ansonia CT and cover companies.
The barn housed sheep which escaped from the barn. The fire was brought under control in about 1 hour with much overhaul needed afterward.
