Kansas Fire Department Performs Heavy Extrication in Semi Rollover

At 9:25 PM on Friday, February 4, 2005, the Soldier Township Fire Department (North of Topeka, Kansas) responded to an overturned semi-truck with the driver trapped at K-4 and US-24.

The weight of the truck was on the passenger compartment and the driver was pinned at several places in the cab. The Topeka Fire Department Technical Rescue Team (Truck 11, Rescue 11) responded to assist with the heavy extrication.
