Atascocita Volunteer Fire, EMS, and Rescue, in Atascocita, Texas, responded to a multi-car motor vehicle accident with possible entrapment on the afternoon of December 31, 2004. Responding units were Medic-19 and Rescue 19.
Upon arrival, all drivers had self-extricated and none required transport to the hospital.
Prior to fire department arrival, bystanders had also placed wood cribbing and asphalt blocks behind the Firebird's tires.
Occupants of all three vehicles stated that they were wearing seatbelts.
