New Windsor, NY - At 0845 hours on Saturday January 1, 2005 the Washingtonville Fire Department was alerted for a structure fire at 312 Bull Rd in the Town of New Windsor section of their district.
Washingtonville Command (Chief James Skelly) arrived and reported a "working fire" and requested a 2-Alarm Tanker Task Force and a FAST Team bringing units from Maybrook, Campbell Hall, Chester, Salisbury Mills and Vails Gate to the scene.
The fire heavily damaged the roof and attic area with smoke and water damage throughout the house.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Orange County Fire Investigation Unit and Town of New Windsor Fire Marshal's Office
There were no reported injuries.
