Fort Worth FFs Hit Fire

  Units were dispatched to an early-morning fire in a vacant apartment in Fort Worth on Jan. 11. The one-alarm fire, reported at 3 a.m in a two-story building, caused over $120,000 in damage. Crews from three engines, one truck, under the command of a battalion chief, battled the fire for approximately 30 minutes in near-freezing temperature using three handlines. The fire started by faulty heater.
