The Woodlands Fire Department responded to a one car motor vehicle accident with three entrapped passengers in The Woodlands, TX, on Monday, December 13, 2004.
According to Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) reports, the vehicle, an Acura, was traveling at a high rate of speed when it left the roadway. The cause for the vehicle leaving the roadway has not yet been determined.
Crews from The Woodlands Fire Department and Montgomery County Hospital District arrived within minutes of being dispatched to the scene.
It took firefighters almost an hour to extricate all three occupants from the vehicle. Two were taken by ground to Memorial Hermann, The Woodlands while a third was flown by PHI Ski Med to Memorial Hermann Downtown.
