Anndee Huber Memorial Dedication Takes Place In Newcastle, Wyoming

Anndee was a member of Explorer Post 66, which was sponsored by the Newcastle Volunteer Fire Department.

A memorial was dedicated to Anndee Micole Huber on October 23, 2004 in Newcastle, Wyoming. The date would have been her 18th birthday. Anndee was a member of Explorer Post 66, which was sponsored by the Newcastle Volunteer Fire Department. Anndee was fatally injured in a water tender rollover, May 22, 2003, while enroute to assist in setting up a water refill station at a wildland fire.

Family, friends, and firefighters from nearby departments joined the Newcastle Volunteer Fire Department for a very emotional ceremony. The dedication opened with the presentation of the flags by the Color Guard and the singing of the national anthem by local High School student, Hans Hunt.
