Harris County, Texas MVA With Entrapment And Fatality

On the early morning of Saturday October 9, 2004 the Spring Volunteer Fire Department was notified of a Motor Vehicle Accident with possiable entrapment on FM 1960 near Thiess Rd. in North Harris County, Texas.

On the early morning of Saturday October 9, 2004 the Spring Volunteer Fire Department was notified of a Motor Vehicle Accident with possiable entrapment on FM 1960 near Thiess Rd. in North Harris County, Texas.

Cypress Creek Medic 51 arrived on scene and reported two cars with major head on damage. Medic 51 soon requested two additional medics to continue to the scene for several patients. Engine 73 and Rescue 74 assisted EMS and extrication of the DOS.

Engine 73 and Rescue 74 remained on scene and assisted with extrication and loading of patients. All patients were transported to downtown Houston trauma centers.

Units on scene included: Spring VFD Engine 73 and Rescue 74; CCEMS Medic 51, 56, and District 51; Harris County Medic 96; Harris County SO.
