Georgia School Bus Wreck Sends Two Children, Multiple Vehicle Drivers to the Hospital

On August 30, 2004, at 3:37 PM, Heard County, Georgia Emergency Services responded to a four vehicle accident involving a school bus.

While stopped, the school bus was rear-ended by a car, then a chain reaction followed.

No serious injuries, however two children in the rear of the bus as well as three others from the cars were treated and transported to Newnan Hospital's ER.

The accident occured on Highway 34 between Franklin, Georgia and Newnan, Georgia.
