Texas Crews Respond To Accident With One Trapped

On Monday August 23, 2004 @ 5:30pm Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department and Jersey Village Volunteer Fire Department responded to a Motor Vehicle accident with entrapment.

On Monday August 23, 2004 @ 5:30pm Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department and Jersey Village Volunteer Fire Department responded to a Motor Vehicle accident with entrapment and LifeFlight at the Intersection of HWY 290 and Beltway-8, in Northwest Harris County, Texas.

Cy-Fair ambulance 10 and Engine 1 were the first to arrive and found a truck on top of a small car with the driver of the car entrapped in the vehicle. A second ambulance along with Jersey Village Rescue Truck and Cy-Fair DC-1 was called to the scene to assist with the extrication and a second patient.

Cy-Fair Engine 10 arrived and established a landing zone for Herman LifeFlight who air lifted the driver of the car to a level one trauma center in downtown Houston. The driver of the small truck was taken by ground to a local hospital by Cy-Fair Ambulance #6.

The accident is under investigation by the Harris County Precinct Four Constable's Office.
