Maryland Crews Respond to Vehicle Crash

The occupant was ejected from the vehicle

On March 6, the Easton, MD Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched for a wreck on Glebe Road.

Units arrived to find a single vehicle had struck a large tree. The only occupant had been ejected, and the vehicle was on fire. Paramedics immediately requested aviation respond.

The crew of Rescue 61 assisted EMS and secured a very large debris field. Personnel from Engines 68 and 65 handled suppression and the landing zone for the helicopter.

MSP Trooper 6 transported a very critical patient to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. Glebe Road was closed for several hours so police could investigate the incident.
