Harris County,Texas Firefighters Set Up Landing Zone For Life Flight Helicopter

On July 21, 2004 at around 1930 hours, Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department assisted the landing of Herman Life Flight in Northwest Harris County,Texas.

Cy-Fair ambulance three requested life flight on a stroke patient due to distance and treatment required from a downtown trauma center hospital.

Cy-Fair Engine #3 along with District Chief Hawkins established a landing zone on the front pad of fire station #3.

Lifeflight arrived and air lifted the patient to a critical care level one trauma center in the Houston Medical Center.
