Lancaster County firefighters from the Rohrerstown Fire Company (Station 6-7) and neighboring mutual aid companies battled a second alarm fire in a vacant dwelling on Columbia Avenue in East Hempfield Township.

The building had been pre-inspected by the first due company and the arriving IC, Chief Scott Porman, declared the fire attack would be external defensive upon his arrival.
