Overturned Truck in North Carolina
The Tryonota Fire Department was assisted by the Special Operations Team from the Gastonia Fire Department in removing diesel fuel from the saddle tanks of an over-turned tractor-trailer.
The truck was carrying treated liquid fertilizer from a waste treatment plant.
According to the SHP, the load shifted in a curve causing it to roll over.
The trailer was punctured by a large stump causing some leakage of the product. The product was off-loaded onto another tanker.
