Firefighters went into rescue mode searching the structure for victims.

On Saturday, Dec. 1, just before 8 p.m., units of the San Jose Fire Department were confronted with a well-involved garage fire in a two-story residential structure at 3292 Lynn Oaks Drive in west San Jose.

Arriving units, including Battalion 10 (BC Jerry Buzzeta), Engine Company 10, Truck Company 14, and Engine Company 14 immediately assessed the situation and transmitted a second-alarm due to reports of victims trapped inside the structure.

Firefighters went into rescue mode searching the structure, but found no victims. Other companies initiated an aggressive attack on the engulfed garage and prevented the fire's extension into the remainder of the home.

The fire was knocked in approximately 45 minutes, and the fire was declared under control shortly after 9 p.m.
