Texas Firefighters Battle Church Blaze

Damages were estimated at an upwards of $200,000.

Fort Worth, Texas firefighters fought an early morning blaze at vacant church on the corner of Mississippi and E. Cantey on April 5.

The suspicious fire caused the roof of the True Gospel Missionary Baptist Church to collapse and the building later was declared a total loss.

Damages were estimated at an upwards of $200,000.

There were no injuries and the cause was under investigation according to PIO Lt. Kent Worley.
