Two Trucks Burn on Virgina Highway

Hillsville Volunteer Fire Dept. responded to the fire.

On June 28, at 8:30 a.m., the Hillsville Volunteer Fire Department responded to a truck fire on I-77. Firefighters found on a 1989 Ford Dully completely involved in flames, and the second truck that was being towed had started burning in the front. Both were destroyed.

A passing motorist pulled along side, and notified the truck driver of the blazing vehicle. No injuries were reported.
