The crew of Asbury Park Truck 90 started vertical ventilation efforts.

Asbury Park, N firefighters made quick work of this 11:30 a.m. fire on Monday, May 7. The first arriving chief reported heavy smoke pushing from the top floor of a three-story 20-by-40-foot Queen Anne house on 2nd Avenue.

An aggressive attack was mounted as a handline was stretched to the top floor. The crew of Asbury Park Truck 90 started vertical ventilation efforts. The fire was knocked down quickly.

A FAST team responded from Fort Monmouth Fire Department.
