Firefighters worked through out the night to protect exposures.

On Monday Feb. 12, fire companies from all over south New Jersey responded to a four-alarm fire that broke out at the Del Val Industrial Tire Company located at 948 South Broadway Pennsville.

Flames and thick, black smoke could be seen for miles. Due to the rural area and heavy fire conditions, multiple tenders and a LDH task force were requested along with foam.

Companies were brought in from Cumberland, Salem and Gloucester Counties and New Castle Del. Firefighters worked through out the night to protect exposures from neighboring businesses. The blaze was finally under control the following day.
