Live Burn Training in Parsonsburg, Maryland

On January 20, 2007, members of the Parsonsburg Volunteer Fire Department (Wicomico County Station 6) conducted numerous interior and exterior training evolutions on a 2-1/2 story structure on Zion Road. Despite the chilling temperatures members went through numerous simulated interior fire attacks.

Cadets were given instruction and supervision in handling hoselines from the exterior as the structure was in its final burning stages. Tanker shuttle, drafting and pump operations were also part the day's instruction.
