NC Firefighters Battle Fire at Deli

Upon arrival firefighters found a large volume of fire in the rear of the Trinty Deli.

On January 14, 2007, the firefighters of Hicksville were called around 3:00 AM for a reported building fire at the West Village Green. Upon arrival firefighters found a large volume of fire in the rear of the Trinty Deli extending into the DiMaggios Pizzeria.

First arriving Engine 934 quickly deployed a line a knocked down a large bulk of fire before it started to extend into neighboring buildings. The fire was under the command of Chief of Department Robert Chiz, and he was assisted by Assistant Chiefs Lang, Korona & Moskos. The incident was concluded by 5:00 AM.

The Nassau County Fire Marshals are currently investigating the fire.
