On June 18, 2004, the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fire works stand on fire at the intersection of Huffmeister and Fleur De Lis in Northwest Harris County, Texas around 8:00pm.
District 2 arrived and reported a fire works stand with heavy fire showing. Engine 3 and Rescue 3 arrived and conducted a fast attack, quickly extinguishing the fire.
There were no injuries and the fire works stand did not have any supplies in it. The Harris County Fire Marshall's Office arrived and conducted an investigation.
