Detroit, MI Fire Department Battles Vacant House Fire

Upon arrival of Engine 32 and Ladder 14 a vacant 2 family flat was found going through the roof.

On Monday November 20, 2006 at aprox. 0110 hours, The Detroit Fire Department responded to a Still Alarm to Garland and E Canfield to check for a fire. Upon arrival of Engine 32 and Ladder 14 a Vacant 2 Family Flat was found going through the roof, Engine 32 requested the Box at the Location.

Upon arrival of Battalion Chief 6 he requested an extra Engine and Truck above the Box Assignment (Normal Box Assignment is 3 Engines, 1 Truck, 1 Squad and a Battalion Chief) . The DFD brought the fire under control using Engine Co's 32,23,9,46 Ladder Co's 14/10 Squad 3 and Chief 6.
