On April 27, 2004 Lincoln, Massachusetts Firefighters from the responded to a one car motor vehicle accident on Route 2.

When the crews arrived they found one car off the roadway, on its roof, with one utility pole severed and primary wires on the ground.

Three patients were removed from the motor vehicle, they were transported by Lincoln and Concord Fire Department ambulances. A short time after arrival, the car began to burn but crews were unable to extinguish the fire because of downed power lines.
