Alabama Semi Crash Traps One

Heflin Fire & Rescue, Cleburne County EMS, and Abernathy Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to a report of a tractor trailer overturned with entrapment on I-20.

Heflin Fire & Rescue, Cleburne County EMS, and Abernathy Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to a report of a tractor trailer overturned with entrapment on I-20 at the 113 WB. Upon arrival of EMS crew they advised that the truck was on the exit ramp to the Alabama Welcome Center. The trucks driver was trapped by the seat and steering wheel.

Heflin Fire & Rescue extricated the patient and he was transported to Regional Medical Center by Cleburne County EMS.

The truck apparently took the ramp to the Welcome Center at a high speed and could not make the turn.
