Just after midnight on August 17, 2008 Wicomico County Central alerted Salisbury Fire Department Stations 2, 16 and 1 to a reported house fire in the 1900 block of Pine Way.
Paramedic 2 was first on scene confirming fire in the rear of the house. Assistant Chief 1 arrived just afterwards, followed quickly by Engine 210. Crews were advised to protect exposures first and to use extreme caution inside the house due to damage from previous fires.
Personnel from Salisbury along with a tanker from Station 74 (Delmar) were on scene for just over an hour. Station 74 also transferred a crew to Salisbury's Station 2.
This house had previously been burned twice before, the latest being on July 26. The owner, who lives out of town, had begun cleanup/reconstruction recently.
