Standish Fire/EMS responded to the firest MVA on the winter season due to weather conditions.
Road conditions were extremely hazardous from an overnight and continuing snow/ice storm.
Standish Fire/EMS responded at 1447 hrs to Boudnry Rd for reported MVA with entapment.
Engine CO. 3 and Squad Co 3 located at Station 3 on Boundry Rd approxamaitely 2 miles from the accident were first to arrive and found a Saab that had rolled over trapping its 2 occupants.
The Jaws of Life were imediately put into action under the direction of Captain Shawn Doiron and Deputy Chief Rob Caron.
It took Standish Firefighters 20 minutes to free the trapped occupants which were transported to Maine Medical Center in Portland by Standosh Fire/EMS Rescue 1 and 2.
Recall on the box was sounded at 1600 hours.
