Units responded to a fire on Saturday, November 9,2002 08:43 hours.

Portsmouth, VA -- Units responded to a fire on Saturday, November 9,2002 08:43 hours. First arriving units found a heavily involved attached garage with fire extending throughout the structure.

The fire was controlled with 2 1&1/2" lines. 3 engines, 1 ladder and 1 B/C operated at this scene.

A classic 1971 Chevelle Super Sport in the driveway was damaged as well.

All occupants were accounted for and searches of the structure resulted in an "all clear".

The fire apparently started on a workbench near an electrical power strip.

The home was extensively damaged. No injuries to our personnel resulted.
