On Saturday, April 12 at 1:30 p.m., a Task Force box was dispatched in West Collingswood Heights for a reported building fire at 504 Black Horse Pike at Meineke Muffler.
Command arrived and reported a vehicle on fire inside the building with heavy smoke throughout. The all hands was sounded on arrival.
West Collingswood Heights Engine 1522 arrived and went into operation with a 1 3/4 hand line. As the rest of the box arrived companies checked for extension, and placed ground ladders to the roof.
The vehicle was quickly knocked down as Command shortly after placed the fire under control.
The Camden County Fire Marshals Office has the fire under investigation.
No injuries were reported on the fire ground.
