Rochester, N.Y. Firefighters Respond to House Fire

Rochester NY Firefighters responded Monday night for multiple calls reporting a house fire on Portland Ave. 

Engine 16 went on location with flames from the first floor of a 2 1/2.

The Deputy Chief assumed command and reported a working fire in a mixed occupancy building. There was a liquor store and apartments on the first floor.

Engine 9 responded as the RIC while Engine 2 was special called to assist. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
