Burning trash led to three structure fires and property losses on April 8 in Cana, Va.
The CVFD responded to the three-structure fire at 123 Misty Mountain Lane in Cana around 3:45 p.m.
The call came in as a brush fire that had gotten into three structures, so the chief immediately called for assistance from surrounding fire departments.
After the fire was under control, damage was assessed to the buildings and the surrounding items.
