Firefighters from Plainfield Fire Division pulled a dog from an icy lake on Dec. 21.

Engine 2, Truck 1 and Rescue 1 responded to Cedarbook Park and found the dog in the water.

Dressed in water rescue suits, crews made their way to the dog and pulled it to safety.
