Fla. Rescuers Pull Kids From Hot Car
WELLINGTON, Fla. --
Rescue officials in Wellington said a grandmother accidentally locked her keys in her car with her grandchildren in it Friday afternoon.
Crews ultimately smashed a window to get the children out of the hot car.
The children were put in a rescue truck to cool down. They were not injured.
Officials said the woman waited to call 911 because she was waiting for her daughter to bring her a spare set of keys.
