Florida Firefighters Help Rid Bees From Jet
DANIA BEACH, Fla. -- A Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue crew was called to get rid of a swarm of bees that were nesting on a jet at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on Wednesday. Mike Jachles, of Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue, said a worker at Shelt Air saw a swarm of bees on a Falcon jet and called for help. Officials said the bees, which were estimated in the thousands, were nesting on the left wing of the jet. A Fire Rescue crew arrived to spray the bees with foam.
