Conn. FFs Rescue Skydiver from Tree

ELLINGTON, Conn. -- A skydiver from the Ellington airport was rescued from a tree Sunday afternoon while trying to avoid power lines. The chute became tangled in the tree about 35 feet up. Ellington firefighters responding to the scene were able to reach the unidentified woman using a ladder. After about an hour, she was freed. This was the woman's ninth jump.
