Oct. 13--CEDAR FALLS -- A 3-year-old girl was pulled from a hotel swimming pool Saturday after nearly drowning.
Cedar Falls police reported being called to the Clarion Inn, 5826 University Ave., at 5:24 p.m. Saturday on a report that a child had been underwater, was unresponsive and was receiving CPR from rescuers.
When police, Cedar Falls Fire Rescue and Sartori paramedics arrived at the scene, the child, who was at the pool with family members, was alert and crying.
She was transported to Covenant Medical Center by ambulance for observation, police said.
