    Firefighter Responds to Son's Drowning

    Kevin Lee was among the volunteer firefighters who responded when a teenager drowned near Altoona. The victim turned out to be Lee's son.

    Justin Lee, 15, who is also a junior firefighter, was swimming with other teens in the Gallitzin Township reservoir near when he disappeared.

    Firefighters and water rescue teams searched the water until Lee was found and he was taken to Altoona hospital where he died, local television station WXPI reported.

    “I don't want no other firefighters’ family members to go through what I'm going through right now,” Lee told the television station.

    Justin's family was comforted after his heart was donated to a person in need.
