    Disick shares valuable insights from the industrial community's rope operations, including the Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians. He explains the techniques they utilize in their day-to-day operations and how fire/rescue agencies can adopt these skills.

    The two discuss several new innovations that have become part of the rope rescue community, including hardware and software that the emergency responders can have access to for training and incidents.

    Steve Disick is owner of Capital Technical Rescue and Safety Consultants in Albany, N.Y. and serves as a career firefighter in a rescue company.
