Atlanta Police have released an officer's body cam video that shows Atlanta firefighters rescuing a boy who fell down a steep embankment while sledding.
The incident occurred earlier this month after the city received several inches of snow.
Crews immobilized the youth before placing him in a sled stretcher and pulling him up the embankment, WSB reported.
The boy was transported by ambulance to a hospital for treatmment.
“The successful outcome of this incident is a fine example of the commitment that first responders make every day to keep our communities safe. Despite a winter storm, inclement weather, and cold temperatures, first responders see to it that emergency calls are answered when citizens need their assistance,” according to a statement from the Atlanta Police Department.
