    ID Couple Survives as Truck Hangs Perilously off Bridge

    Two people survived a harrowing ordeal when a pickup truck breached a guardrail and was left dangling off the side of a bridge 250 feet above a gorge.

    An Idaho couple had an incredible amount of luck on their side as they survived a harrowing incident that left their pickup dangling off the side of a bridge hundreds of feet above a canyon.

    Idaho State Police tweeted a scary photo of the vehicle dangling off a bridge spanning the Malad River Canyon in Hagerman on Monday. The plummet from the bridge is about 250 feet.

    Multiple agencies responded to the scene, and the vehicle was secured with safety chains attached to a camper to keep it from falling.

    According to KSTU News, the vehicle was traveling on Interstate 84 when the truck somehow breached the bridge railing and went over the side.

    The couple inside the vehicle was safely removed and transported to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
