Colorado firefighters rescued an injured worker from a construction site trench box Tuesday.
South Metro Fire Rescue crews responded to the incident at a construction site in Parker, the department stated in an online post. When firefighters reached the scene, they quickly began prepping for a high-angle rescue.
The worker was secured to a backboard, and an aerial was used to hoist out of the trench box. He was then taken to the hospital with injuries that weren't considered life-threatening, according to the department.
