The round shape of the tree trunk creates the issue in which it can roll in either direction off of the roof. Where the tree landed can influence the thought process greatly. Is it at the midpoint of the tree, to the extent that it’s teetering in the center? Is only one end of it on the vehicle? How is it stabilized? Can a strut be used, or is it best to set up a chain basket in coordination with the struts?
