KATY, Texas, May 4, 2022 – RESCUE Intellitech, the innovative manufacturer of decon washers, announces the launch of the DeconWasher™ Pro S and DeconFilter™ Pro S in North America at the 2022 FDIC International, Booth 2601. The brand-new products are now available from RESCUE Intellitech dealers in the United States and Canada and begin shipping on August 1, 2022.
The compact-size DeconWasher™ Pro S provides an efficient cleaning solution for PPE worn by firefighters and first responders during emergency calls and can clean six SCBAs and 48 facepieces in one hour with a touch of the screen. With an intuitive user interface, operators can start a wash program, follow a wash program’s progress, change the wash and rinse temperatures, adjust the detergent concentration, alter the rinse volume, view the number of completed programs since the last water change, get water change and service notifications, and more.
The ergonomic design of the DeconWasher™ Pro S enables a high-water flow through rotating wash arms, with nozzles designed to decontaminate and clean gear powerfully. The decon washer includes an energy-saving ECO-mode, consuming up to 55% less energy, and can be in use within seconds. And depending on the operator’s washing capacity needs, the smaller wash tank saves up to 30% or more on detergent.
“We have listened to our customers and developed a cleaning solution that not only efficiently decontaminates SCBAs and more, but it only requires single-phase electric power, making the decon washer easy to install almost anywhere for our customers,” states Vice President of Sales and Marketing for RESCUE Intellitech North America, Bjorn Rowland. “Plus, our customers have complete control of the DeconWasher™ Pro S thanks to its intuitive features.”
The new DeconFilter™ Pro S perfectly complements the RESCUE Intellitech decon washer product line, including the Solo Rescue® and DeconWasher™ Pro S. The modern DeconFilter™ Pro S filtration technology reduces carcinogens from wastewater efficiently. It fits perfectly on the right side of the decon washing machines using a special filter rack or by mounting the filter system on the wall for convenience.
To achieve high-quality results, the DeconFilter™ Pro S uses a multi-stage custom filtration, including a lint filter, particle filters and an active carbon filter to catch particles of various types and sizes from going into the drain system. Plus, the maintenance is simple as it has an open design that allows operators to reach and change the filter cartridges on the side of each decon washer effortlessly.
“Beyond both new products being game-changers, the new DeconWasher™ Pro S and DeconFilter™ Pro S offer fire departments the opportunity to efficiently decontaminate their PPE to minimize cancer risk while reducing carcinogens in wastewater,” adds Rowland. “Our goal is to make clean gear the new badge of honor among firefighters by changing how PPE is washed.”
RESCUE Intellitech began manufacturing decon washers ten years ago, and now over 500 are installed and used by fire stations worldwide.
