departments and our firefighters. I know that it will be a huge event again this year. It will be both fun and educational for our firefighter’s their families and the citizens in our communities. To all the chiefs please rest assured this event will be very well organized. I have a great team in place that will be assisting me. But I will need some assistance from each of our fire departments. As you all know October is Fire Safety month and we will be kicking it off in good fashion with this years firefighters challenge on October 2, 2010. I’m very excited that we will be adding a new event this year our first annual Chili Cook-Off. And we will be adding some new events to this years challenge also. There will be Fire, Rescue, EMS, Forestry, Police, Sheriffs, and more at this year’s event. We will also have fire safety events going on throughout the day for our children.
