Chicago Firefighter Hurt at Taco Restaurant Fire

-- Nov. 26--A Chicago firefighter was injured Friday night while responding to a fire in the 1700 block of West 18th street, according to the Chicago Fire Department. The firefighter suffered a laceration to the hand and was taken to Rush University Medical Center, fire officials said. The two-story wood building, which housed a taco restaurant on the first floor, sustained heavy damage. The roof was destroyed, according to the fire department. Police closed off 18th street at Ashland Avenue.
