Two N.Y. Firefighters Hurt in House Fire

-- Nov. 15--Two Buffalo firefighters were being treated this evening for minor injuries they suffered while helping to put out an attic fire in a two-and-a-half-story wood-frame house at 599 Hopkins St. about 2:30 p.m. The cause of the fire, which started in the attic, remains under investigation. Fire officials estimated damage to the structure at $50,000 and damage to contents at $25,000. The American Red Cross was helping two adults and five children who live in the house and escaped uninjured.
